Look out for progress reports

Cartoon20eyes Look out for Progress Reports.  They go home on Tuesday, Sept. 16th.

Pads vs Zods

Today, we simulated the struggle between Palestinians and Israelis for the same homeland.  Students that were Pads felt that the Great Power (aka Mrs. Nolasco and Mrs. Golz) did not like them anymore and loved the Zods more.  Some students were very angry at me by the end of the simluation!  However, when we debriefed the simulation at the end of class, they realized that I was playing the role of Great Britain who favored the Zionist more than the Palestinians.  Students enjoyed creating their protest slogans and I enjoyed seeing what they came up with.
